This short country style tune, Get out the vote, was a huge hit last election. People all over the country listened to it, and we can assume that somebody out there who otherwise wouldn't have voted must have been moved to vote as a result. We just have to believe that.

Get out the Vote: longer version, (1:28), is certainly more opinionated, probably obsolete now, as it refers back to the election fiasco in Florida in 2000 and calls on everyone to support democracy by voting. This version is complete with vocal harmonies, banjo, bass, and mandolin, and of course the message: Get out the vote!
